About me
I have been TV editing since 2001 for many different TV projects, over 100 at last count. I edit mostly factual programming. No matter what the format, I enjoy the challenge of making the very best show possible. This means putting the director's work centre stage and letting it shine. It means embellishing the pictures with amazing sound and tracking down the best music. It means having a sensitive ear for dialogue and understanding people.
I use the software programmes AVID and Premier Pro.

Utilise an AVID editor with over 20 years experience! My last AVID gig was series 7 of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly for C5, in March 2025. In the past few years I’ve lent my editorial skills to US, Netflix and UK tv shows. CV downloadable below.
Since acquiring Premiere Pro in 2018 I haven’t looked back. I cut with it on Secret Lives of Five Year Olds - Saving Energy social media campaign for EOn in 2024. It’s versatile and has great compatibility with other creative tools from Adobe.
I don’t just limit myself to TV editing. Recently I have met clients who make podcasts, host websites, and use social media. Join them! The future is smaller, faster and has more digital integration.

July 2025. Gordon Ramsay came calling. I spent 9 weeks working with some of the best people in TV across UK, USA and NZ. His brand new series “Secret Service” debuted on FOX Entertainment in May 2025 to great acclaim, with viewing figures breaking records. Of the 14 episodes in the series I contributed to around half, and properly babysat 2 of the 43 minute works - the restaurants Callahans (a 2 hour special) and Pretty Girls Cook. My editing was done on AVID in-house at HALO Post Production in Soho, London. Globally the job was done remotely by an avengers-style team of editors and producers. Humbling and inspiring to work alongside such talent. And yes I can report that it is exhausting to be the bleeper for Gordon.
May 2025. In conjunction with Volunteer Center Sutton, I have produced a short film that showcases their talents. The 5 minute piece was commissioned by Nick Baum, Head of Operations, filmed by ace cameraman Samir Modi, and features an interview with Anita Maulin (VCS CEO). Archive and our own footage was used, with music courtesy of Universal Production Music. The piece was edited on Premier Pro with guidance supplied by edit producer extraordinaire Moby Longinotto. March 2025, social media time. I’m cutting down podcasts with composers and scriptwriters for creative website Writeseen, which will go on YouTube.
